Who we are and what we do
Pathfinder is a successful Turnaround practice established by Chris Burford in 2003.
The core values of Pathfinder are as follows:
- To serve the interests of our clients, professionally, transparently, and ethically.
- To find creative solutions for enhancing value.
- How we do things is as important as what we do.
We work mainly in Turnaround Director positions for SME's in the UK (often as CFO or CRO). We have also worked in mainland Europe.
We will become statutory directors if required to fulfill the objectives of an assignment.
Turnaround assignments typically invlolve a business review followed by implementing a Turnaround plan through operational and financial restructuring, effective cash flow management, robust financial reporting, building high performance teams and proactive stakeholder management. Assignments often involve an 'exit' by way of a company or business sale.
A selection of ten completed Pathfinder assignments are set out in the table to the right.
