About Our Associates

Similar to other Turnaround practices, Pathfinder adopts the model of associates rather than employees.

The key to any assignment is having the right people in place with the organization and this might best be achieved by recruiting either interim or permanent staff direct from the market.

Pathfinder has however successfully worked with its own associates on several assignments where specific input has been required and this need matches the skillset and experience of associates.

The following are the main Pathfinder associates, other associates having been retained for specific assignments.

Primeast Limited

Primeast is an independent consultancy based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire with an international client base and global reach and reputation.

Pathfinder works with Primeast to deliver training to develop the commercial and management skills of senior managers and directors.

Jeremy Warhurst

Jeremy excels at making and facilitating objective assessments of projects of any size assisting in a “go,” “no go”, “continue”, “stop” decision.

Jeremy has an MSc from Leeds Beckett University on project management where he is also a visiting lecturer. Jeremy is also a committee member of the special interest group for value management for the Association of Project Management.

Jeremy and Pathfinder have worked regularly together both on start-ups and on Turnaround assignments where quick decisions were required on projects before further cash was spent.

Jeremy is the MD of Require Quality Ltd.

James Burford; Pathfinder Partner

James spent over 5 years of study and training in India from 2007 - 2012. He is a qualified Sivananda Hatha Yoga and Astanga Yoga teacher, as well as a qualified Pilates teacher, Ayurvedic massage therapist and a Reiki master.

His academic studies, including an MA in Indian Philosophy and Comparative Religion at Benares Hindu University and personal sadhana has focused primarily on Yoga, Vedanta, Ayurveda for health and Tantric traditions, for all round wellbeing and personal development.
